Thanks! No need to be jealous, there plenty of other drum tracks to be jealous besides this one. It's not that that great...

As far as the high tom, not sure what you mean there. I think it sounds fine, but thanks for the observation. I'll go back and listen to it again

It's not when you hit the tom itself. It's when you hit the kick drum.

From what I can hear, the rack toms resonate when you hit the kick drum and it gives off a slight ring/overtone.

It's not game changer, but you're better off without it there
