new recording. opinions please

this is a recording I did about a week ago of a local band. I just wanted to know what people on here would think, and hear suggestions of what could it make better. Any suggestions and or complaints on it welcome. Thanks in advance.

for anybody else who is gonna listen. you have to save the file to your comp or paste the link into the address bar. you can't link to a discussion board.

i have to be honest when i say that this isn't my favorite type of music, i don't mind it though. It kindof has a Korn sound to it. That low yelling sounds dumb though... not a recording problem, it just isn't pleasant to the ears.

for the mix, i though it was a bit quiet overall. The vocals could come up some, rhythm guitars can come down a bit. Pretty well done though.

thanks for the advice. sorry about the trouble listening to the song. yeah i dont like the music either, but whatever, i am not the musician, or a producer. i will try and see how it sound with it changed to those suggestions. And yeah, i havent messed with making it full volume yet, this is still a partially rough mix, the band needs to come by and listen and tell everything they want changed also.

Damn - got this error message from geocities: "The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer." It says that access will be restored within an hour. Didn't realize they did this - I was trying to use my geocities site to post mp3's too. Well, I'll try again later and see if it's back.
