In my humble opinion, the drums are far too weak in comparison to the guitar(s). They get completely snowed under by them. The mixing on the seperate intruments sounds fine to me, i would just adjust the levels so the drums have moore punch. On the other hand, i dont know anything about Metal so its just my personal observation, Maybe you meant it to be that way...

I don't know, I think the drums are pretty good. It's got lots of bass guitar (usually this lacking) and the kick is nice and punchy. The vocals are muffled a bit for me, except for the breakdown where they may be too present (maybe cause the other part is less present :-) and the guitars a suitably scooped. Great playing by the band too!

Not a fan of the snare sound particularly... more noticeable in the quietish front section... like the bass sound there a lot though - well done...!

Thanks guys, I'll take your thoughts in to consideration..

On No Honour the bass seems a little lop sided. in the intro.
Snare is OK but I'm not fussed on the bass drum or the vocals.
The guitar is a bit fizzy for my ears.

I have the bass panned 100% to right in the intro.
With a second track with effects bleeding thru the left..

deliberate panning - it's fine then.
You may like to add some mids back into the gtr.
I'm not keen on the genre defining sounds of bass drum & vocal but I understand that they come with the territory.

Agree on the mids, just installing Duncan Blackouts which will help in all area's
especially mids. Will thicken the sound drastically...
