New Pickups

Im going to be re-doining the electronics on my old 88' ibanez saber. I will be replacing all the electronics(pots,input, toggle) and the pickups. So im looking for some replacement choices.
Now, i like a very heavy(death metal) guitar sound (heavy meaning no band on the radio has a really heavy sound) a like a good amount of low end , i am tuned to b,e,a,d,f#,b, and i play rythem really fast. heres the problem im having, i need something that chunks low end but is not muddy when im speed picking, i need clarity. So what should i look into??

oh yeah if this helps, my setup, guitar into a compressor into crate black voodoo into a marshall4x12. Simple, sometimes a 7band eq in the effects loop.

lose the compressor and insert a gibson 500t in the bridge position... you will not believe the sound that thing has, even at low tunings. ok the compressor thing is personal i know ...

but really the 500t all the way
