New one "For Her"

Just to see what it sounded like, I think I'd:

* bring that backing rhythm guitar up a bit - 2 dB?

* reduce that louder guitar on the left when the vocal comes in - 1 dB?

* 0.47-1.16, that louder left guitar just disappears during the chorus - it really sounds like something's missing, so maybe...

a) don't axe the part, keep it going

b) bring it back in sooner (for example, at 1.01)

c) add a slower strummed part on the first beat of each bar (that's what I'd do - it would slow the feel down without creating that 'instrument gap')

* whack a ton of voodoo on the vocal - 'telephone' it, for example, or some parallel distortion

Good tune, BP.

The rhythm guitars ar really boxy. It don't know the exact frequency, but I'm guessing it's someplace between 300hz and 900hz. Find the frequency and cut it on the rhythm and lead gtrs. Then bring up volume a little bit. Adding some top end to the snare wouldn't hurt either. The biggest problem with this mix IMO is it sounds 2D. If you can make it sound 3D and get rid of the boxiness I think you'll have a nice brit pop song.
