New MTD Fretless, what do you think

The bass is a KZ5. Simple and short tune. If you have any comments about the recording or performance, I would appreciate them.

Sounds pretty slick...how'd you do the bit a little more than 2/3rds through where you were playing the harmonics and then the last note kind of slid upwards? Know what I asking about? That was cool...I would've expected sliding up the string to deaden it, but maybe you did something else?

The whole thing has a really polished sheen to it that is either good or bad depending on what you're going for...nice performance :).
 
Thanks for listening and your feedback. The sliding harmonic is a trait of the fretless bass. Nothing to it, you just pluck the harmonic and leave your finger on the string (lightly), then just press into the fingerboard and slide up as far as you want. I did an octave, but less sounds cool too.

Cool. I guess if I'd thought about the fretless aspect a little more, I would've figured that out...duh...:o
