Ok for the headphones you need this. Most headphones actually come with the adapter, I guess that's not true in your case. You should be able to find it pretty easily, try Radio Shack.

as for the stand ..... dude .... that's EXACTLY what steenamaroo posted and it's standard ..... just like every other mic stand in the world.
Unscrew the little adapter in the center of the mic clip that's only there to adapt that thing to fit mic stands with small threads ....... then you'll have the right threads and can screw it on the stand.

Thanks for the help mate but which side are you on about unscrewing the one to the left?thats the mic adapter clip..

okay hanks guys..can u guys post any uk stores who have this headphone adapter too? many thanks..also if any1 can get back to me about the shock mount then..as am unsure as with that wrench thing how i attached that to a mic stand?? any help appreciated

First off, that budget does not afford you to many good options so keep that in mind. if I were you I'd just stick with using the one at your friend's house for a few more months while you save up more money. Then buy a better one.

That being said...

XLR microphone will require an interface with it so that will cost quite a bit more more money.

If you must stay with a USB microphones (which I don't recommend) the best option is the blue yeti.

Good luck, and enjoy!

Okay guys..successfully now got the mic stand onto mine..can anyone help with the reflection filter unit? Many thanks

Hi guys i posted a picture of the wrench like device..i can get the reflection filter screwed onto there..but ive looked theres no manual for the reflection filter or instructions on how to set it up online? Can anyone help me with how i can fit this onto my mic stand..i have now posted about 7 photos including one of the wrench and my stand so if anyone can help with that am sorted. Also the headphone jack..whats the part called for the jack? Will maplins UK? have one? let me know many thanks

Dude, your Granny probably has one. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if a filling station had them.

ANY even remotely audio or electrical store should keep them.
It's called a headphone adapter. stereo 3.5mm female to 6.35mm male.

This is going to rude rude, i hope you don't take it the wrong way,

BUT

If you need this much help, you may want to reconsider your path.

I'm not being snobby; I'm well aware that everyone starts somewhere, but you are taking the piss a little bit.IMO

:( *Violin music* LOL. Nah am just dumb lol. And okay ill try find somewhere that has em i googled and it say £5 cheapest so am a look around brah if not al head to maplins tommorrow..then a just need to learn how to fit my reflection filter and am good to go a reckon.

Cool.
I'm not being thran with you. I'm afraid I genuinely don't know how it works cos i've never used one.

But i bet if i looked at it/thought about it for a minute or two, i could figure it out! ;)

once again ..... if you had bothered to even LOOK at the instructions for the reflexion filter that someone posted a couple of pages ago .... the VERY first thing that pops up is a drawing of the thing installed on a stand. It doesn't screw onto the stand and it doesn't go on the end of a stand ...... it clamps around the stand and therefore can fit any stand there is in the universe. It would clamp onto a broom handle if you wanted it to.
The picture is VERY clear so I have to assume you haven't really looked at it.
Now go look at the damned instructions!

Yeah Allas, that was kinda random!
But who can blame em for not reading the whole thing, we're nearing page 23 now

Hey guys I relooked at Bobbsy's instructions for the sex1 filter..and ive managed to do it!! However when a move slightly the whole thing collapses.,its as if the stand cant handle the weight..so a added some weights to the bottom seems to work fine now..now i just need to get my jack for the headphones and think am ready to go!! :) ill keep u all posted..pictures of the set up to come so u can see if i set up right (Bobbsy will know) thanks

cool ...... patience and perserverance pay off in the end.
looking forward to hearing what you can do.
:)
