Dave's not here
Sennheiser e906
I wanted something easy to use with little fuss regarding placement for mic'ing my guitar cab/combo for our new recording environment. As I researched and read about the thousands of possibilities I really liked the idea of just hanging the mic off the front of the cab with the mic resting on the grille. Simple... I like that.
Being a "semi" frugal carbon unit I looked at the e609 first. Same format but without the 3 position switch. The older e609 (black) are well respected but are like hen's teeth to find. The new silver ones are less loved for sure.
So I ended up getting the e906 which seems to be well reviewed.

Looking forward to testing this bad boy out!:)

I just picked up a couple now new, some second hand mics too, the latest is a CAD Trion

Like this one (this isn't mine, no photos yet). Funny I was on evil bay looking for something else and I clicked the guys other items and found this, could not help myself. We need a group called MA (Microphones anonymous).

I also have some old stuff that kinda works (some don't) from the early 60's and 70's, AWIA and shure kind of thing, I just keep these because they look neat. I should really post some photos.

Alan.

OK you asked for it, I did a quick search and found 2 x AIWA DM-13, 2 x Shure Unisphere 585, a beaten up Shure 545, a couple of AOI mics and a EICOR (whatever that is LOL).

Alan.

P.S: seems the photos double posted or something Opps, also I have some more mics in boxes I will dig them out later
