New METAL mix! What should I change? HELP!

I recorded it today and I don't know what to think about it. I will be very thankful for any advice! :)

Every thing sounds like it's panned right up the middle. The stereo spectrum isn't very wide. And you cant hear the bass drum in some parts, and the guitar is muddy on the single notes.

I like the song though. Keep working on it. Worthy effort.

Thank you very much, I'm new in mixing so I'm making a lot of mistakes :)
 
The mix is really chaotic. There isn't really a space to hear all of the instruments. So, it kinda sounds like everything is fighting to be up front. There is an over-compressed sound coming from the drums at times. If you used a limiter, you may want to back off on that a bit. There's lots of bass where it should be and that's a good thing. But, something in the mix makes the song lack definition. Maybe it's the bass. You can add some definition by boosting the mids on your guitars and dropping some of the highs. Also, try boosting the mids on the bass around 1-2k. That should bring things out a bit more.
