new metal/grind song

I just got done with my lastest song.

I wrote this song about my bitch of a sister-in-law who had the balls to yell and cuss my wife out while my wife was in her hospital bed.

I vocal parts "WHA WHA WHA!!" was inspired by Artie Lange of the Howard Stern Show.

It still very raw mix.

I used 2 tracks for guitar. One sm57 mic and Metal Master pedal direct in.

I guess I should know by the title this is not work friendly :rolleyes:

Love the lyrics despite the obscenities - they are easy to identify with and I think they make for a great story.

The guitar is a wee bit grindy, but then you said this was grind so I guess it fits....lol...really not too familiar with the genre. Just a tad harsh in the intro but not so bad when mixed into the verses.

Good vocals on this - love the "girl" in the middle...... :D

Catchy and well done.......
 
forgot to mention. I miked my Peavey Valve king with an sm57 which went to one track and I one direct in
 
ahahah i like it. Not my style of music and the guitars seem a bit thin but the song rocks. good jorb.
 
haha that was actually pretty funny. its kinda muddy i would turn some of the lows down a little
 
thanks guys Im glad you found the song funny, that was my intention. I wanted to rag on my sister-in-law. When she called yelling at my wife, she yelled, " GET OVER YOURSELF, THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU!!" Of course I confronted the sister, and she coward down. that is why I used the line "GET OVER YOURSELF". She is a single mom who is full of herself, and expects the world to feel sorry for her.


I agree the guitars are alittle thin. Im going to lay more guitar tracks for a fuller sound.
