Hi,
New member, kinda new to recording. I use Adobe Audition with a Alesis Multi 8 FX usb 2.0 interface.
Just want to find out first if anybody out there also uses Audition.

I don't know...maybe you should scroll down to the Adobe Audition forum and ask one of those guys.

I have adobe audition 5.5. I tried Alesis briefly. Did not care for it. I have also tried M audio pro. It just does not have enough power. I have to keep cranking it up and when you do that. You get hum. Of course I am having same issue with mackie 1402 vlz.

REALLY don't know what THAT ^ is about! If you want some help Db, you will have to be more specific. "Power" is the rate of doing work, watt/second, kW/Hr. What are YOU on about?

But to the OP! I have an old copy of AA1.5. About all it was used for was MP3 encoding* because it does not "do" MIDI. If you want a shiny new DAW there is little to beat Reaper.

*Now use Samplitude Silver for that.

Dave.

I'm on Audition CS6 but have been using it since it was Cool Edit and still have most versions

Welcome to HR!
