New M-AUDIO NOVA MIC - anybody have it?

its really new. But well.....yea it is knowing its just now getting popular.
here it is > http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--MDONOVA
I am thinking about getting this mic. It looks koo plus the specs are on point.
But I was just wondering how good it is. If anyone has an audio sample or something?
I'm under 16 w/ no Job. And I will not save up for more expensive mics becuase if its your advantage, it's matters how you use it.
So don't be like, oh get a NT1 or AT 4054.
I got a SM58 right now buts it sucks at recording studio vocals. I need a condenser mic with good quaity and records natural touches in my voise. I got a voice like Fabolous sort of.

-The reason I wont get studio projects B1 is that, it records thin with the brightness and it outta sync. I know how to mix. but the SPB1 is not really good for vocals. (it's dull)

- I would get MXL V67g. So far it's my bet. But its dark and, since it's 100 bucks. I might as well compare it to the M-Audio Nova LDC.

OVERall, I have afeeling the M-Audio Nova LDC is something that will fit me, but I just want feedback on this mic

I haven't heard a thing about the Nova, but there was a LONG thread about the Luna a month or so ago...the author was pretty complimentary, and the clips he posted sounded pretty good.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you're recording rap and/or hip-hop. Are you using it for anything else?

You probably won't find that a lot of people have experience with that mic, so be prepared to get a lot of opinions about a variety of LDC's around the $100 price point...and probably a couple of dynamics thrown in for good measure.

Don't compare specs to determine if a mic will sound good with your voice...specs mean NOTHING when it comes to sound quality, and they mean LESS than nothing when trying to determine if a certain mic will sound good with YOUR voice.

^ true....

yeah I'm doing Rap/Hip-hop/R&B/ and popish type music
I just need a vocal mic. thats all I'm using it for.
