Knows very little
i needed to route headphone for recording vocals and recording guitar/drum sessions.

i purchased the samsonc-que 8 headphone amp, so far i like it, but i was expecting more. they dont get as loud as i was expecting. even when i boost the input signal to nearly clipping, and turn up the output signals on the amp it doesnt get as loud i was expecting.

with what i am doing with it it is suffecient though. but i am wondering if i am better off returning it and getting the rackmount version, or getting something totally different all together. does anyone have one of these?

also, i am thinking abut getting the samson monitor que. is it even worth it or should i get the mackie big knob? im thinking the big knob, but if the samson is ok, i would rather spend $150 less on the samson.

thanks fellas

Sorry, don't have that unit but a lot of folks here have good things to say about Behringer HA4700. Have one and like it.

What headphones are you using with it-it could have a lot to do with some really low efficiency headphones. I have a set of Sennheisers that absolutely blow away the set of Sony's I had been using!

get the behringer one that is 40 bucks at MF. it's supposedly really good, plus it has talkback..... i'm getting it;)
