Hi all,
I just installed a new 9GB UW SCSI2 HD in my PC. This is the third HD of that kind in my PC. My PC is a dual boot system of Win 98SE and W2K. W2k is for video and Win 98SE is for audio. Up until now, I've had no problems at all. This time around, however, both W2K & Win 98SE see and recognize my new HD in the device manager and says that all is well, but it does'nt show up in "My Computer." Therefore, I can't access the new HD!

Yes, I have formatted the new HD and yes, it is connected correctly to the SCSI chain. It is even recognized by the BIOS during boot up along with all the other drives, including the CD-R and CD-ROM. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this, please?

Thanks,
ThreeDogg

Problem Solved!

A buddy of mine showed me a utility inside W2K & Win98 to assign a drive letter and allocation, etc. to my new HD. So, now all works fine.
