Yep, spam alright....what part of Louisiana is this spam from?....

that you abuse of public communications system to advertise...
like someone sending you lots of porn emails when you get into one of those dirty sites and give away your email :D

well im glad to see they are "bout our bidness", or what ever the hell that means.....

The topic of the board is marketing is it not? I am just tryna get my group heard. I respect everyones opinion, but if you don't wanna listen to them then that's cool. Whoever decides to, could you give me some kind of feedback. That's all I am asking!

Ok, I listened to some of the music. The group probably has some talent, however it is hard to tell from the music. If you want an honest critique (read as my opinion.) Get an engineer who can help you with the use of processors. Also, long intros with a lot of what sounded like sampled sounds run through processors before the vox came in becomes a little boring. Also, I would recommend that for music that will be played through computer speakers that you use de-essing software or a compressor with that function.

Other than that, it sounds like some good material that just needs some polishing and a little more experience. I did like the way that they have taken some jazz elements and blended with hip-hop.

In the future, people might be more responsive if you posted this on the part of the board for the MP3 Clinic.

Thanks for the feedback. really appreciated what you had to say.
We didn't record over th computer, we went to a local recording studio. I know some of the things that you are speaking of and some of that had todo with the mastering that was used.
I really appreciate what you had to say and I will save that info for future recordings.

Take your spam and place it in a crevice where the sun doesn't shine!

Grinda, yup what Sonic said (actually two things)

1. Stick this post in the MP3 mixing clinic
2. The group sounds inexperienced, which makes sense because they are young and, well, inexperienced. When doing a presentation like this, it has gotta look pro and sound pro. There are lots of Typos ( Like " our common gold", obviously goal). It all matters. Peace
