Hi folks and thanks for letting me in to your site.
For the past 40 years I have had a set of EKO stand alone bass pedals.
Just plug them in to an amp and away I go, bass guitar sound with my feet. Well they finally give up completely on me and I bought new ones that are midi hook up. Studiologic MP117 Dynamic MIDI Bass Pedals - 17 keys, selectable MIDI channel, program change, bank select, transpose, includes thomann power supply.
I have a yamaha drum machine with midi in and out, can I plug the pedals into that and get any sound??????????????? I am at a loss here........lol

Hey BroKen thanks for that. I lost mine years ago and now I can do some other things I want to do. I will let you know how I make out with the pedals.

Hey BroKen,
Can't get them working thru my drum machine yet but borrowed a keyboard and they worked right off the hop.
Gonna keep working on getting it thru the drummer.
A lot different than the old Eko set. These are touch sensitive and that makes it a whole new experience..... lol
also the keys are a bit smaller and thinner spaced so it is like learning a new instrument again.:)

MIDI bass pedals have no sounds built in, I would guess, so plugging them into the Yammie drum machine would only let you map the pedals to the built-in drum sounds. Plugging into a keyboard with built-in sounds would let you play those sounds.

The drum module should have some sound capabilities. Have to look at the manual for the RX15 and see what it needs.

Okay, page 42 of the manual is here. Turn on key reception and enter omni mode. set the MIDI reception channel. Then you've got to assign the sounds you want each pedal to do...

I think?
