Boca Chica Highway is the location of the last official battle of the American Civil War.

this one features two rhythm guitar tracks, that have a cool effect on them,
supplied by my new Boss DD-200 delay unit, that has a setting called "Shimmer—Pitch-shifted delay for lush, heavenly textures."

sounds like i've a keyboard part, but it's just ambient effect off the delay pedal. it's cool.

Guitars sound very good. New Boss delay sounds very good. Drums maybe a bit busy? I get the military theme with the snare, I think a less syncopated pattern might suit better here

That is definitely a full on shimmer...the guitars sound cool although I'd tend to favour that much flavour for a short burst rather than the whole song. My 2c

hey bulls,
thanks for that insight on the drum track, your right,
i'm going to edit those grooves, and relax it in places.
thanks!!

hi mcmac! appreciate the listen...
i really dig the shimmer for the whole effect,
but i MAY try going back and re-recording the rhythms again, dry, and mix those up with the shimmer tracks...
if i can get the new rhythm tracks eq'd the same as the shimmer,
so you don't really hear the tones different with and without...

Cool groove. The hi-hat seems like it really pokes out and is somewhat bright.

hi fairwarning!
thanks for the review...
yea, i've been changing the hats out, as well as a couple of the cymbals, looking for the right tones to fit in with all the rest...
i think i've settled on the changes, as well as still writing out the drum parts,
so i'll post a new version some time later.
