Thanx for the compliments and constructive guidance. I didn't go to Full Sail. The main reason is because you can't work with the schedule they give you. I started to go to ARTI, but my job would let me out with only 30 minutes to get there at 5 in the afternoon, so I would be late everyday. So I did the next best thing. I just paid money every month to go to a nice studio and try things out. I read all the magazines, like Mix, Eq, Recording, etc. I've been at it since 1994, so I grew with time. Right now I am starting to mature engineering wise, because I'm learning how to use eq effectively. You might hear some more of my work in the next few months. One of the artists I'm doing an album for is gonna be released on about 100 national stations. His first single is "Shoulda seen her", and then the next will be "Shawty". His name is Smitty James, so if you hear it let me know!! They may not play "Shoulda seen her" because his real version says mother$!ker about 800 times, but he changed it to mothersucker in the radio edit. It still sounds close, but thats what he wanted. Is anyone trying to go to Full Sail? My best friend works there, and my engineer went.
