Hey, i am looking to get a new computer for recording only. I have been using my new dell in my room, but now i have an actual studio space. my budget is around 1000. What is a good brand or a website where i can find a good recording computer. and what specs should i look for. thanks

just go to a website like newegg or whatever and pick the best components you can that fit into your 1000$ budget. Do some research though at websites like www.sharkyextreme.com or www.tomshardware.com to see whats good and what suits your needs. Some brands are better for games, some better for business, etc... you need to find what's right for you. And this stuff changes on a daily basis, so someone who did research, build and bought a computer 6 months ago won't be able to give you any up to date info.
