the first 2 tracks are from the Hip-Hop Olympics at the Sphere Of Hip-Hop forums. i'm not one for battling - not for quite some time - but these were my submissions. let me know what you think.

and finally, this song is fully mixed, ready for mastering when my album is complete. it's called "Daddy" and i hope ya'll feel it. it may be my first single from the album. comment if you'd like.

i've finished mixing "This Road" and added a bassline to it. 10x better now. also gearing up to record another 2 tracks in the next week.

One More Mile is all about a man who is struggling to provide for his family. While trying to achieve this goal, he essentially neglects his family because he's trying so hard to provide, and forgets how blessed they truly are even with the little they do have. "fill the kerosene on a winter afternoon and head to the kitchen for a nice cold brew // in a house with no heat and barely any soup stands a man sellin' his soul for a suit"

Today is a song that tells my story, but from a perspective that others can relate to. There's not much more to say than that, you'll have to hear the song on the album when it's finished. "i had friends in the best of places who heard my cry so they kept on prayin' // i gazed through the haze as my high wore off and broke down in tears as he showed me the cross"

I'd love to get the album done by the end of the year, but early spring 2008 is my absolute deadline. i'm still undecided if i'll have any guests appear on the project, but it will be 11-13 solid tracks that will "hit home"... hence the title "A Little Piece of Home".
