You got a link to listen to the tracks my man? Holla back...

Basic beats, very melodious, I like your feel..........Would be nice if there was some chord changes. Grab a concept and play according to that concept, that way your audience can feel the build up an break down of the song. Like I said very basic foundation, but you have something to build on once you create that mood. You have to feel it first and then try your hardest to relay that feeling to your audience through music. I am Hiphop by blood and RnB/Gospel at heart so I love chords. Add som bass riffs in there too! The bassline and the drums makes the whole song........ I like CP09's concept, you can take that and run with it. What program are you using?
Keep at it!

thanks a lot Trumpspade !
I will try to add some chord changes, bass line, etc..
I use reason 3, cool edit (audition), an mpc 2000 and a basic midi controller.

I agree with Trump over there. Very loopy but hey you've only been doing it for 3 months. Seems like the drums aren't mixed right, they either stand out too much or they're muffled. I make all my beats in reason too as do many others, so we could help you get your beats to the next level.

Keep it movin,
Fie.

In some of your songs the drums are standing too up front. They are not sitting well in the mix. And you may need to eq them because your are not hearing clean snare licks and booming Bass kicks....

Some of your beats remind me of early Wu Tang stuff... Keep learning man.. I think ya have style, now sharpen your skills...

Also, use your SoundClick settings to set up a message board (like my soundclick)... It should help to get some biz networking (in the long run)... :D

hey Im new here, but I especially liked cp08, easy to flow to.

yea youre stuffs not bad...i get the same comparisons to early wu-tang on my shit too. if youve only been in the game three months you definetly got a good head start. the only thing i can tell you is that some of your stuff is offbeat and that you can make your beats sound a lot better by getting more intricate with the drums. youll find that this is easy to do in reason.

but as far as instruments and loops, you already got me beat on that. i dont know if you sample your loops or if youre playing them. if youre sampling them than you got a good ear for good loops and you know how to sample it and make it sound good. if youre playing them then you can probably plan on making some money on music at some point if you stick with it man because those are some ill loops.

thanks for the constructive comments :D

just like that:
cp08 composition
cp09 sample
cp10 composition
