no offense, but them beats is annoying the hell outa me...mainly there is a sound on a few of them tracks that sound like something playing backwards

on a couple of them songs it sounded like you sampled a portion of a 3LW song, and the other sound like that Mary J song that Dr Dre produced (that has a real repetative 1 note piano tune been played is anoying)

don't take this the wrong way i was jus giving my honest feedback

Hey bro,

your overcrowding them beats with sounds (common mistake when new to making beats) drop some of them sounds and switch it up a bit with some fills and music drops and break it down in sections

what them lids usually say? "try again", you got some good ideas, but to make them fly you gotta get a little more melodic and creative, noone wants to hear reggae shots through a whole track, like my man said, common mistake when you startin----but keep with it, and you'll eventually kill that.

i really love the drums, but the music doesn't always go well with it... just make sure you place notes that fit together, and you will end up making some real good stuff. keep up the work that's all i can say.

hey btw, I wanted to know...

are you making any cash with this???

Everyone has their own opinion. People bounce to the most ELEMENTARY beats I've ever heard. Not to mention the artist makes lots of money from them. But only because you people buy them. No one is ready for originality. To give you an idea of what I mean here's a list just to name a few.

Jay-Z-Hard Knock life (Annie)

Cash Money-Still Fly (Gilligans Island)

Nelly-(Any song by Nelly comes from back in the day school cheers and hand clapping games) ohh yeah and sitcoms

Master P-(also a fan of ol'school girlie cheers)

DON'T KNOCK JUST BECAUSE IT'S NEW

BEAT ROCKA DO YO THANG!!!

-ain't nobody hatin' on beatrocka

-if u ask to have your shit critiqued then expect some good responses and/or some negative responses

-i would much rather get negative comments vs. a bunch of yes-men responses especially when someone gives you some input on what to do with or take outa the beat in order to fix it

-people like some of Jay Z simple beats cuz, alot of East coaster/NY'er folks into them real simple beats with dirty drums and a simple loop

-and BTW Mannie Fresh beats aren't simple...if you listen to most of his production, there is alot of shit going on in the beats

FIRST OF ALL, I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU

SECONDLY,
no offense, but them beats is annoying the hell outa me
DOES NOT SOUND LIKE CONSTUCTIVE CRITICISM

THIRD,
note piano tune been played is anoying
THAT'S YOUR OPINION

FOURTH, MANNIE FRESH IS NOT A MEMBER OF HOMERECORDING.COM(FACT) YOU DON'T HAVE TO DEFEND HIM!!

FIFTH, MANNIE FRESH IS FAR FROM BEING A HIP-HOPPER
(THAT'S MY OPINION)

SIXTH, MANNIE FRESH BEATS AREN'T SIMPLE THEY ARE TRASH
(THAT'S ALSO MY OPINION)

ROCKA KEEP DOING UR THANG!!!!!!!!

I agree. i could just imagine if some linked a track like "Special Delivery" or "Grinding" by the Neps. they would probably have gotten their feelings hurt up in here

FIRST OF ALL, I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU

-I'm not defending anyone...If you reread your own post you will see how it sounds like your coming to the defense of "BeatRocka" when noone has attacked him...

Beat rocka

Thanks for the feedback people, good and bad reviews are welcome.Remeber though , all tracks on my page are for sale. I already am in negotiation with a buyer who wants two of my tracks for $125 a piece.....Also ,new beats will be up soon, check back

peace !!

Your hurting yourself

Yo man you cheating yourself. If you only gonna sell your beats for $125. You put work into it and you gonna self yourself short. I sell my beats for nothing less than $300 and that is just if I'm helping someone out. So think about what you doing cause if someone blows up off your track you can not charge them more afterwards you can get the publishing that is about it maybe some points on the album. So think about!!!

Do your thing

Keep doin your thing, rookie.

And keep askin' for constructive criticism, too. I've got a slow-assed modem connection, so I only listened to 1 track ("Keep It Hot") - and it was definately cool. I'd be happy to talk producer-to-producer with you & voice my opinions if you give a shit, but I won't bother on the forum - Not cuz I'm worried about the backlash or whatever, but because I'm just choosing not to.

I will say this openly, don't worry about simplicity, complexity, anotha' muthafucka's dexterity, whatever, just put it down as you see fit. Crunch all you want, you can make more, right?

The more adept you get at putting down what you imagine, the better you'll be able to understand other people's perspectives regarding beats, freaks, and rhymes. Your ear will become much more critical, you'll be able to identify diff. producers and styles and all that good shit. Keep bangin, money. If you choose, post your email and I'll get at you.

One, Flo' Dolo
