i like this joint, just needs a lil more energy somewhere but I can't put my finger on where.

who did what? i know that's gotta be DE on that synth...lol eitherway nice work.
 
nah fyre did the synth i did the drums and we made a lot of changes to the piano so thats both us on the piano
 
this is real nice..bring the snare up a bit..when ever you mix vocals to it and you will have a nice story tellin hit.. and take the synth or piano out (add another instrument-lite- with the same pattern) for a few measures somewhere near the end for a bridge..and your on your way...

Nice joint. I agree with mentalattica, it needs something to build it up. Like another melody for the hook or something. Maybe string? But, this track is sick, thick, and hard... Ya like said, bring up the snare cause when you add the vocals it will sound lower...

yup - what they said. needs a snappy snare. not snapping fingers, but a *crack* that hits for the snare... not different, i'd actually layer it over what you have now. and then a string synth riding in the back, drawn out over 4 bars a piece or something.

the fellowship consists of all you heads on here makin good recommendations and gully let me know if you gonna do that
 
Good beat, nice piano. I don't know what other snare fits with this so I wanna hear that new version. :)
