Hello all, i have been browsing through this forum for quite some time now and am very thankfull for all the help you have provided without knowing it!
But now I am renting an appartment, where noise isnt an issue after 5 pm. I have a dilema. I dont know where to put my control/mixing room.
ROOM A - probably better sized room , long and rectangular.. but the isolation from the live room isnt that great, its just a typical drywall ..wall... between the two, and its a rental so i cant be tearing down walls.
ROOM B - more square but provides a better isolation from the live room becasue it is further back , and there is a kitchen in between.. also this room has a concrete outside wall (if that makes a difference)
the live room is the biggest room and it has a nice sound for drums and guitar. my band rehearses there every weekend, its a very LIVE room. so ide like to keep that like so unless someone suggests something else.
also, im going to be recording useing a G4, and MOTU 896HD (www.motu.com)
thanks in advance. and sorry for the shitty diagram.. i just need some guidance.
