I just purchased an apple powerbook on ebay. What are decent requirements for the computer for recording. Memory, ram, speed, ect. Also do the powerbook G4's always have a DVR? If not can I hook it up to a burner so I can burn my projects to disk? Thanks guys ,I appreciate it. :) :)

Check out a site called: osxaudio.com

It's a great site for anything Mac and audio.

G4 powerbooks do not always have a DVR. you can use an external firewire burner. i would advise using an external firewire harddrive instead. the RPM on most external harddrives is faster than the RPM on the internal drive. it will bog down once you get too many tracks though.

i use 1.25GB of RAM in my powerbook. it seem to run well. thats the maximum capable with my model and so i hope i dont need any more soon.
