Hey y'all,

My wife and I are getting ready to record another tune on my 414 cassette 4-track, and I got the idea of documenting it on video for: A) posterity, and B) just in case anyone else would give a damn. I know I would enjoy seeing something like that. But then again, I usually read a manual from front to back several times before I even touch a piece of gear, so I'm not probably not a good gauge when it comes to things like this. :)

Anyway, in case B is true at all, are there any specific things you'd like to see documented? If it were up to me, I'd document just about every second of it, but I know that my wife certainly won't have the patience for that, and I know that most other people wouldn't either.

Anything specific you'd like left in or left out?

Thanks for reading.

mmm not sure! some nifty pitch control work might be nice. Ah some clever use of insert/sends and effects in general would be useful. Not that I have that machine but might soon. Does it have only 2 outputs if I'm thinking of the right machine? Someone said maybe in this forum or ebay not sure you can use insert/sends somehow to make it output 4 separate channels. IF that si the case a document of this would be good if it can be done and is right and you need to do it in your project even

Personally I'd like to see everything! Leave nothing out.

If you can get four separate outputs from the 414, I can't figure out how to do it. I'd love to hear someone explain it. I've tried before, and I couldn't figure it out.
