New Ambient Track! "Water"! 14 Year Old Producer! Feedback Returned!

Listened to it, and enjoyed the first part. As soon as the drums kicked in, it became something other than "ambient"... The drums were way, way too forward in the mix. Sounds like you've got the gain pumped up a bit much, because parts of it clip in my earbuds.

The concept itself isn't bad, but the mix makes it hard to listen to. Keep mixin'!
 
Hi Flyn, I had a listen and like PI, I got quite a bit of clipping on my speakers too. I thought having the drums was fine - thought maybe they could have been a bit less bright with a few of the highs rolled off, but could just be personal taste.

Nice tune though and for being 14, it's very impressive. I definitely can hear the Flying Lotus influence on there. You a fan of the likes of Burial and Boards of Canada too at all?
