Hey guys. Round two today came out well, the acoustic guitar got a little distorted during one of the chorus's, but I think I covered it up pretty well. I also tried some things you guys mentioned with panning. Feedback?

P.S.

it usually takes a little while for the streaming to work, so if it doesn't work, come back in a half hour or so :D

I think it sounds pretty good Andy. You could probably roll a little bit of the low end off the guitar, as it gets loud at times, and masks the vocals some. I think it would be better to thin the guitar a bit, than to just boost teh vocals, as that will keep the bottom from being too strong.

Sounding pretty good though.

Andy - can you let us know which tune you are referring to - is it
Kait Clavette - The Way?
Ok - I'll assume it is lol - the balance between the guitar and the vocals is close, but the vocals are a tiny bit lower. If you could make the vocals a bit louder (just a touch), it would be better, Now it soubds like the vocals are backing up the guitar.
The singing and playing are really good BTW..
The solo is way too low - bring it way up.... and I would center it myself.....

Merry Christmas....

i listened to the last one...kait something. "still searching, the way.."

the acoustic seems a bit bassy. maybe distance it a bit from the mic a bit more, as you're getting maybe a bit more pick noise than you want.

the vox seemed they could use a slight cut somehwhere in the mids.

cool though.

oh...make sure that high e is tuned up. its not that bad, and out of tune can be okay if its just a bit for some strings, but never the high or low E's.

Thanks guys. I got my compressor finally set up so now I can do some adjusting. I think I'm going to try to bring back the mic that was over the body of the guitar to take away from the bassy and the pick clicking sound.
