Take a look at the new fire wire a/d/a form M-Audio at

My question is, is this a good buy for a home stuido?
It says that it can run up to 7.1 (???? what ever that is) and has a built in level controller for the output signal
I have been looking at the Delta 1010 but I can not figure out how to configure it for 5.1 listening.
If the 1010 is a better set up how do i control it for 5.1????? do i go thur a 6 or 8 bus mixer? If so what mixer will do (brand)?
