Good luck with the mics, I have used a stock ck40 and it sounded great. I could only imagine how good the modded one sounds, if I had the money I would pick it up.

......you could always donate it to me, you know for good karma and all that ;)

These are designed after the Gefell Neumann M55k capsule(a fav of Mr. Albini)
I've compared an original M55K to Blue's B5 and they are dead on replicas, with the Blue having slightly more extension on the bottom end and smoother up top. No need to reskin old M55Ks as these are their modern equivalent.
These are amazing room mics.

The Blue B5 capsules are fully compatible with both Bottle and Bottle Rocket mic systems, and even fit the original CMV563 microphones.
