Holy shit..... has anyone seen the red Tama that Neil used to own on Ebay? I can see that it's really his! I need to borrow $31,000 fast! I think it's up to $12,000 now. I have no room but damn.... I NEED that set!

does it have to be in good condition to be special? if, say, a jimi hendrix strat went up for sale and it was beat to shit....would it be any less special?? I think that it's special because Neil Peart toured with it for a couple of years and recorded a few great records with it.....
as far as the DW comment....once again - if a Hendrix strat came up for auction, I'm sure that it would be priced in the tens of thousands of dollars. Now you could buy a couple hundred strats for the price that the hendrix would sell for - right? but you're not getting the hendrix strat...just as you wouldn't be getting Peart's drumkit - but rather a bunch of DW drums....
