Hey guys

I just got a tascam us 1641 recently, and I got the Alesis monitor one mk2 speakers also.. I may have over looked the power amp for the speakers for mixing... What's the best route to go on this, i'm looking for something not to heavily priced but definetly something worth the money?

Thanks
Matt

IMO...youl'd be better off checking craigslist out for hifi amps than messing with those pyle's 1% distortion??? that's alot... if you go the hifi route though you shouold look for something that has an amp direct input (as opposed to useing say a tape input) so as to not use their EQ ... or atleast a hardwired bypass... make sense???

Thanks for that.
What about the Gemsound?
Know much about them?

more of the same... emphasis on cheap/some what powerful/cheap/designed for bullshit PA-kareoke/and lastly cheap...

Have you tried any of these?

No, and other than getting a kick out of seeing that tuner one, nothing implied at all. :)
How ever, struck me; fans (maybe a down side, maybe not) there's the ol' 'if it sounds too god to be true..', that and look for some reviews, re reliability, safety.

Rotel (High current models), NAD, Hafler (even the "cheapie" TA series), Bryston -- Look at used amps before you invest in garbage.

Yeah:
Matt, who's thread this is, is looking for something for a studio so presumably quiet and reliability are important to him.
I'm looking for something to use on live monitors maybe once a year so "Cheap" and portable would work for me.
Thanks guys.
