Dear Anyone.
When, especially in slow Country and Western tracks, they keep the rhythm by tapping the edge of the snaredrum with the stick so you get a click sound, what's that sound called? And do you know where there's a wave file of it?
Y'see, I thought that sound was called a Rimshot. But every .WAV file I've found called Rimshot is that bad drum roll you get after a stupid comedian makes a joke, just so you know it IS a joke. Two taps on the snaredrum and a cymbal crash. That's the sound I DON'T need. The one I'm after is just someone tapping the edge of a snare drum so it clicks. Got several drum programs but none of them have that sound in for some reason.
If someone knows a drum VST that DEFINITELY has that sound in it, I'll have that instead but a single .WAV of the sound would do wonderfully.
Yours hopefully
