Hey, I need a pc soundcard that has at least 4 inputs. Basically i wanna be able to plug in 4 guitars and record them all at once, each input recording to a seperate track. I've got a soundblaster live platinum which has plenty of inputs, except you can only record from one of them at a time, never simaltaneously. Also it'd be kinda cool if this soundcard could run as well as my existing sblive, that'd be really handy. I really need advice on this, doesn't have to be a fancy card, i just need it to do the job, for home demos sorta stuff. If anyone has any ideas at all drop me a line at hobbes@thedistortednothing.cjb.net, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

You'd be better off posting this question in the Computer Recording and Soundcards forum.
For 4 separate and simultaneous inputs, for instance a M-audio Delta 44 would be a good choice (24bits/96kHz). Many people at this bbs use M-audio products, some of them along with an sblive.

yep, Delta is what you are looking for......

Delta 1010lt is going for $249 these days........

also look into the Delta 44,Delta66, and Audiophile2496.......
