Need some help

Anyone know some links or info on how to create your own sounds? such as 808's and snares and stuff like that for software not hardware. soon i'll have the korg karma and i won't have to ask this question for that, i was just wondering how i would go about doing it in fl, or reason, or cubase

haha ditto... in FL the Sytrus plugin is pretty straight forward on making your own synths/strings/etc. But as for snares, kicks, whatever, im lost...
