Need Some Help Updating Sonar......

I got a copy of Sonar from a friiend on Christmas, it was a bootleg copy but I didn't know. I got home and it was installed on my computer. I love Sonar and would like to upgrade it, but I can't since I don't have a serial number on the version that I have. I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me what their serial number is so I can upgrade my Sonar. I'm using Sonar 1.0.1 and I'm trying to upgrade it to Sonar 1.3.1. If you can find it in your heart to help me I would be very greatful.

I'm serious and I don't like games. I'm not going to try and register the software with your serial number. I just want to be able to upgrade my software. So, either you'll give me the use of your serial number or you won't, but don't play with me.

This is the most stupid thing I've seen around here. "It's a bootleg copy, but that's okay because I didn't know it".

And it woudn't help you if you got any of our serials. We're allready registered in Cakewalks database.

It doesn't matter if you'll registered in Cakewalks database, ythe upgrade only wants to know that the serial number is a real one from Cakewalk.

You must understand, that it's been our policy NOT to use any kind of cracked / stolen / ilegal copy / ilegal downloaded / bootleg softwares. We don't support them in anyway. Sharing our serial number for whatever reason is prohibited. You run serious matter here, you'll end up ignored, or banned.
It would be better if you call Cakewalk Tech support. Tell them the problem, they are very friendly and will solve your problem.

My friend gave me a cracked version (some call it a bootleg) of your fine recording-software, but unfortunaly this is version 1.0. I was hoping you could let me upgrade to 2.0 XL for the upgrade price, I don't like to pay alot for a program that I allready have and I don't want to download it from the net (I'm on a dial-up connection).

Please send me the upgrade as soon as possible!

Were you only born in 1998????????? Save up your pocket money, finish school then buy Sonar. If you want to record but can't afford to buy Sonar... get something link N-Tracks which is cheap and don't come back here asking for Serial Number....
