The drums are live recorded. I sample the snare. Guitar are 100% panned to left and right.

It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you are going for an inexpensive demo then it's fine as is. I think the kick and bass could have a little more oomph. If you are actually considering having this professionally mastered than I would suggest that you add no type of compression or reverb treatment to the master bus and leave the file at a modest level (Somewhere between -10 and -15dbs) to allow for headroom.

Something like this....

Ofcourse I just threw this up quick and dirty from the mp3 you posted. Results would be much better with a professional having access to the original uncompressed wav files.

I put some reverb on snare, vocal and little bit on guitars. There are no effects on master bus. i use compression on almost every single track but on main output there are no effect. I have done default master in Adobe Audition and that is all.I don't think we have that king of money to spend for pro mastering so i will try to do it my self.
What did you do with this? There is musch more bass in the mix.

I'm working on clear and "in your face" sound. This mix that I have is litlle bit muddy.
I worked with this Mixing Metal
In this article there are pics of compresion and eq on every instrument.. I did this and this mix is what i get.

I'm not saing I am not happy with this sound but if you have some advice to get it sound better i'm happy to try it out

I too used Audition. The bass was enhanced using waves Maxxbass. Then it was run into a multiband compressor (I use it all the time but forget which one it actually is) and then into waves L2. Ofcourse I only spent a minute with it. A real ME would take a lot more time and would also ask you to send them some reference material such as a cd or mp3 from a band you like or wanted your master to sound similar to and such.

Ahahaha...I hope you know that ME stands for Mastering Engineer which I am not. I master my own stuff because, like you, I don't have a lot of money to invest. If you would be interested in having me master your stuff we could talk but I would do it just for fun.

haha FAIL :)
Tell me what I need to send to you ? Every track or what? Or just mix without any effects?

All of your songs mixed down into stereo wav files with no kind of effects other than what was used in tracking. Make sure they are at a consistent level and there is no clipping going on. You can stick it all in a rar or zip file and find some place to dump it on the internet for easy downloading.

Oh, and and some kind of reference. Could be a song you like the production of.

Great musicianship all around. I liked the guitar sounds.

I'd agree that you could probably boost the bass and kick a little bit. But not too much.

Maybe just a little (more) reverb on the guitar solos? Not sure. Maybe just a delay might help them sound a little bigger.

Hey murdersgalore what did you do to the track? Guitars spud much better

Not bad for a demo, most of the levels work pretty well. I think the mix has some potential to it, and the performances are definitely there! Have you considered having it professionally mixed?

Nothing to the actual guitars themselves. I added a bass enhancement that cleaned up some of the mud so the frequencies the guitar sit in would have a little of their own space. I only had access to the mp3 so there was no remixing.

Hello Jasenko!
What an interesting composition.
After first couple of beats I was expecting to hear some remake of Macedonian folk music like Stefanovski did long time ago.
But your song continued keeping me surprised (not in bad way). This is not style I 'm interested in, but I liked it very much and I think you did it pretty well.
Panning of lead guitars could be done more friendly but who is looking for that anyway.
Keep them coming!

Listening to the original link from the OP as I type. The vocals seem a little "out of the mix" i.e. too loud compared to the rest. Pretty tight playing guys - good job overall!
