If it's any help, I've played one for the last 5 or more years and it's great, I don't even go amp window shopping anymore. It's taken a beating and keeps going, it's fallen off quads plenty of times (don't ask), it will not die.
IMO, you DO need to make it adjustable bias (look it up, it's easy); at stock they are running the tubes quite cold and the "clean" channel sounds pretty clunky. Once you get those tubes running where they should be, it's amazing. The distortion gets a lot better too. Brilliant amp and worth the money!
