Need some extra ears (and speakers)

Hello,

I am trying to add more heavy percussion to my film score music... the only problem is I have NO idea how to mix large percussion sounds. Also, I don't have studio monitors so i have no clue how it sounds on other speakers...

Could you please check this short song out below and let me know how it sounds on your home speakers? If any levels need to come down... etc.

It works for me now. It sounds pretty good to me. Anything anybody says is pretty much personal preference now. If it were me I would actually raise the volume of the percussion more. And take out some of the highs.
 
What the Crow said.... and I think the "snare" is a bit woossy and needs to kick me in the head a bit more... but not too bad.
