Marciano said:First, try reducing the bpms on the song, try to make it more Mellancholic, but just a bit, then the rythm pattern on the verse is very bad(drums)...try removing some snares out of it, and, on the chorus , replace the hit hats with a full crash, on the C part (a-verse, b-Chorus, c- third part) try a open hit hat sample.
Reduce all the rythm complexity of the verse(simplify guitar rythm as well as the drums) for the chorus to stand up, because the chorus doesn't have the desire effect...that's what i feel.
Remove the reverb out of the guitars...it´s out of style, and replace the clean sound for a more dirty sound, an ibanez tube screamer maybe do the trick.
Good guitar sound(on the chorus).
On the " i have become undone..." try adding a third guitar on the midle, with a Big muff to fill the hell out of it, and to bring that part to a next level.
The chorus in general i like, the worst thing here to me is the the verse, that doesn´t help the chorus or the C part at all. the dynamic of the music doesn't go up or down as i feel it should.
Think about it...
Sorry for my bad english.
Good dist guitars! What amp and guitar did you used?
RAMI said:Jesus Christ,man...He already said it's a drum machime and that he will be re-tracking it. He's looking for opinions on the "arrangement". He doesn't need anyone to tell him about the drum machine sound and the "out of style reverb"...or the "big muff". And there is no "I have become undone". anywhere in the song....I don't think Mr. Finster needs me you or anyone else to tell what pedal to use...get a life.
Are you listening the same song that i am? if it isn't undone is under? what part you didn't understand? My post was not for you, if you don't like it, don't read it!RAMI said:And there is no "I have become undone". anywhere in the song
RAMI said:You're the one that has no idea what's going on...read the thread. He doesn't need people to tell him about the drum sound and the freaking high hats for the love of God. This is demo. He is looking for ideas on the arrangement and the parts. You're telling him what pedals to play....You're a joke. I have nothing to learn from you...Other than, how NOT to sound like a pompous idiot.

I like the idea of chiling back the snare hits.
It seemed a bit busy to me too.
The dynamics of the song will be interpereted by the mixer really (me)
But this thread is not about mixing, and im certainly not shooting for THE MIX with this one, just production notes.
The guitars are direct through Amplitube.
Oh and BTW, that "ReverB is so00 OUt of StYle" comment....
Pretty funny!
Reverb not in style........LMao!!!
