Need reverb on vocals in the monitor mix, but not coming in...

DALEEEBOOOOO
Ok guys, here's my setup:

2 Presonus Firepods
1 Lexicon MX200 Reverb
2 headphone amps (4 phones per)
Software - Magix Audio Studio. (Mixer has 4 Aux and 4 Bus)
Alesis M1 Powered monitors
1 AKG 240 cans

Here's my situation:

I had a guy in teh studio last week to record an acoustic guitar and vocals. He asked for reverb on the vocals in the headphones, to which I told him I couldn't do that yet and to stop whining. ;)

Here's my question:

I can not for the life of me figure out how to get reverb back into the monitor mix without recording it going in. I can obviously route through the lexicon going in, but for whatever reason I'm completely blanked on how to get it on his vocal track (only) in the monitor/headphone output. I'd like to be able to add the reverb later on for better control. I understand that some people like to hear the reverb effect in the cans, so for future sessions i'd like to be able to do this.

Here's a picture of the back of the above mentioned units so you can see their outputs and possible routing scenarios. If you guys could help me out here with some suggestions, I'd muchly appreciate it, sho'nuff!

If the software alows it, can you asign one of the mixer aux sends to a spare Firepod out- send that to the verb and one of the head phone amps.
On second thought doesn't the firepod have it's own mix/matrix?

I follow you up until step 4, as I understand it. If i'm missing something, let me know

  1. Vocal Track (1)'s output is to Aux Send 1
  2. Aux Send 1's output is "Firepod 15/16".
  3. physical patch cable from 15/16 to reverb unit in.
  4. reverb unit out to ?

In order for the vocals to be in the mix with the rest of the instruments (in this case there was only the guitar), I would have to get it back as an input. Maybe I could take the reverb out to a spare input, say track 7 - then just not record that channel?

I'll test what I understand and see. if I misunderstood, fix me up.

thanks,
