need opinions on this soundcard? terratec

just wondering, any opinios or warnings? gonna be used for home pc studio recording my own songs one track at a time- though i went for several in/outs coz of drum tracks and mixing advantages-

pc is an asus a7n8x deluxe nforce 2 chipset
2.4ghtz cpu
512mb pc3500 ram
80gb hdd
win xp pro sp1

350 euros -the best value shopping for me here in ireland is at:

there a german site that ship round europe and for sure are my cheapest option. i want to record my own albumn here at home and even though i will only be doing one track at a time i definatly want the option of micing drums and being able to do a decent mix which is why i like the 8i/o. any suggestions for an alternative would be gratefuly accepted and much appreciated
