Anybody got any good sites/books/articles on the various flavors of Marshall amps through the years, especially who used what when? I know lots of guys are associated with them, but I don't know which models go with what sound.
I was just looking at some pickups, and they were explaining what amps were used for the clips, and I realized that I have no clue about Marshalls, other than the fact that almost every hard rocker from the late 60's on has used a Marshall stack at some point, they used Celestions, and that 'Plexis' are good. That's about it.
Sad but true.
