Hi,
I recently bought an E-Mu 0404 soundcard, installing it in SP1. I then upgraded to SP2. This worked fine until i had to take it out to fit in a new graphics card. When I put the 0404 back in, the PC recognised it as a new device, so i uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and software for the card. However, at the end of the installation, it said the soundcard is unable to start, so i repeated the process but this kept happening so i gave up. A couple of days later, i tried to install the card again, but this time the installation software did not recognise that the card was inserted, which it was. I was wondering if this is a hardware problem or maybe an SP2 problem. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it
