Need help with song...

THis is a short 21 second begining to a song I am in the process of writing and I am looking for ideas as to what drums (if any) should go with the begining of this song. The kick and ride you hear in this sample were just a click track for myslef.

I am basicly looking for input/help for the drums for the fast part as I am totally stumped.

...I'd put just kick-cymbal hits and short fills in the first riff, ordinary, but effective?? ..for a starting part. If its in a middle somewhere, maybe kicks at the same pace as the pickhand, snare two hits on-beat and two against. Seasoning with cymbals to taste...MAN!!!... variations are endless!!??

Thanks for the feed back dude...I have this riff at the very begining of the song and then again toward the end as well. It is a work in progress but I am just really stuck with the drums on this part for some reason. I will take your advice and see what I can come up with over the long weekend.

with the snare sort of accenting the higher notes of the guitar riff....

then go into 2 bars of a hammer style blast beat

s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s - s -
k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k - k -

Alternate each time or do each beat for 4 bars through at a time.

Thanks for the ideas metalhead. Since this is a nice 4 day weekend I am hoping to record all the guitars and bass tracks for this song. I have the click track all programmed and ready to go. I will post it when finished.
