Need help with my tascam porta 02mk2

I bought it like 6 years ago and havent used it in about 3-4 years. I put it in a protected place and now i want to use it and transfer my recordings to the pc. The problem is when i record and want to playback my recording i hear nothing. I know that you can only hear the first 2 tracks when using the system but im saying i hear nothing at all. When i stick the tape in a regualr tape player i hear what i recorded. And when i put the tape in the 4-track backwards, I can hear the playback in reverse. But when i flip it foward i hear nothing. ANy help?

playingback recorded tracks

Check if there are playback enabeling buttons for each track and besure disabeling record button during playback.The tranport bars should show signals of recorded tracks.I have used MK2 few years back.
