Hey all,

First thanks for clicking on my thread, I am a newbie, seems nice here.On to the equipment i am working with

Mac Desktop
Behringer UCA222
Behringer 1202 fx
Blue Yeti Pro

The Yeti Pro only seems to work when its USB only when its through the Behringer no control no volume

I have the RCA cabble plugged into the UCA222 then into the 1202 fx CD/tape which is at the bottom as the photo hows. As you can see there are 2 XLRs up top which is what the Blue Yeti pro came with . I also have 1 cord plugged into the back of the cpu (not headphone jack the other) into the output of the UCA222

You should have the RCA outs from your mixer going to the interface in. The outputs from the interface going to speakers (or tape deck) or just use the headphone jack. Monitor on to hear what you are playing. The USB should deliver the sound to your computer and back out. So, not sure why you have anything else plugges into your computer. Make sure the computer picks up the USB audio.

The Blue Yeti, can't help you there, you might check the instructions to see if it needs phantom power when in XLR mode. You won't be able to monitor from it, that will be done from the interface.

That should be enough to get you moving.

so with the UCA 222 plug the two wires into the input and then plug it into the mixer into the cd tape mix and click cd tape mix on correct? What do i choose in settings?

Also i am using standard red white RCA wires here that ok?

the 222 does have a headphone setup can i just use a redwhite to headphone wire that i have?

I am not really sure what you are trying to do, but the first thing you need to do is first make sure that it is working. Are you wanting to record the tape output?

Let's start over. You have a mixer, an interface and I assume some type of recording software. Your mixer outs will go to your interface. If you want your CD to play through the mixer, that goes to the RCA ins. They are just normal RCA, so yes the ones you have will work. You can monitor through the interface headphones.

Let me know if that works.

So plug the rca cords into the 222 white red white red?. Trying to record audio through my mic and whatever I play on cpu

The Yeti does need phantom power if you're using the XLR connection. But why such a convoluted setup instead of using the Yeti's USB output? What's the purpose of the UCA222 in this setup? If you're plugging it into your Mac's line in, you don't need it. You can plug the mixer straight into your Mac's line in.

Looks like you dont have phantom power on in that photo. In USB mode the mic uses the 5v that the usb connection supplies for phantom power, but for XLR it'd need it from the desk.

I have phantom power just wasnt turned on. I want people to hear whatever im playing on my cpu clearly through Skype
