I have been using a Microkorg with my Mbox 2. I have had everything setup pretty nicely and it works perfect. The MicroKorg has a MIDI IN, OUT, and THRU. I have the IN and OUT going to the Mbox 2. It works as intended. Perfect!
Today I bought one of those M-Audio 61 Key Oxygen Controllers. It has USB and MIDI OUT only. I am pretty sure I am not interested in the USB out. I already have an interface.
So... tonight, just to test it, I ran the MIDI OUT to my Mbox. It works great. most knobs seem to work. I tested it with SAMPLE TANK. Cool!
So, how do I set this all up with both keyboards?
Do I leave the Micro Korg set up with the IN AND OUT to the Mbox 2 and then plug the M-Audio into the MICRO KORG THRU?? This way I can control both the Microkorg with the M-Audio and the virtual intsruments in Pro TOols?
I am on Mac 10.4 Intel with Pro Tools 7.4 LE.
