My goal is to record guitar through a mic'ed cabinet, and use Fruity Loops 6 to make drum tracks. Using Nuendo 3 as my multitracking program.

The hardware i have is:

Gina 20 PCI Audio Interface ( 2 analog ins/8 analog outs)
Behringer Eurorack MX602a mixer (2 channel)
Various mics, cables, etc.

I managed to record a guitar track through the mixer (Channel 1 in - Main Out Left) into my Gina card (Analog 1 In), but when i want to play it back i have to switch my ASIO driver in Nuendo from ASIO Echo WDM to ASIO Multimedia Driver so i can hear it through my computers normal soundcard, an Audigy 2, and out my stock computer speakers.

This is ok for just tracking a guitar but i cant record and playback at the same time, so if i wanted to track a guitar over a drum beat in Fruity Loops i wouldnt be able to hear it, only being able to use one driver at a time.

If possible id like to send an output from my Gina card back to my mixer so i can monitor through a pair of headphones until i can get some real monitors. When it comes to re-routing signals through a mixer without sending it back into the recording path, im totally lost.

Any input would be greatly appreciated :)

yeah RTFM...and it also helps if you BUY the software because then it would come w/ a manual you can actually read!

I do have all the manuals and have read them. Behringer isnt the best when it comes to manuals especially on such an inexpensive mixer, what the Nuendo manual has to do with this i dont know, show me where it shows how to re-route the signal into a mixer for monitoring and ill be a happy camper.

Thanks Ethan that was was what i was missing. My problem is that my mixer, being a very economic model, doesnt have the direct outs per channel, so im using the Aux send and Input channel 3/4 to send thre signal back into my mixer without re-recording it. Works fine recording one track at a time

the problem is can you bus the new audio into the sound card and then take the output of the card back to the mixer and only bus it to the main outs not back into the interface.... may be hard with that setup...
