Hows everyone
Ok I need some help. I am looking to buy some equipment within the next two weeks. I trying to build a home studio for producing hip/hop and r&b tracks. I have done tracks in other people studios but now I'am looking to get my own. I looking to buy somemore equipment to go with my existing setup. I have a Fast computer, delta 1010 soundcard, Roland xp-80 and a Mpc200xl and thats it. I have had this setup for months but I haven't done anything with it because I felt I didn't have everything. I know I need more but I don't know what to get. I was looking ito getting a
spririt M series or mackie mixes ( but why would I need a mixer. In doing hip hop would a mixer be a waste of money)
Triton Rack( would I need this with the xp-80)
Mo phatt rack (would I need this with the xp-80 and triton rack)
event 20/20 monitors or yahamaMSP5S monitor package)
but what else would I need. Can you give me some direction on what to purchase and why.
Question 2
I also play the guitar, can you tell me what would I need to incorporate into my setup to allow me to play the guiar on my track. I know the mpc can record short samples, but what if I had a r&b track that I would want to add guitar on, what would I have to buy to allow me to do this.
P.S. If you guys have any other equipment suggestion please help.
